We headquarter out of our Wisdom Montana Pack Trip Station for our Archery Elk hunts.

We have had our Archery Elk Hunting Camp for 30 plus years. The Big Hole Valley and Wisdom, Montana are famous for Archery Elk Hunting and offer an excellent opportunity for trophy bull elk bow hunting.

7-Day Guided Montana Archery Hunts include - 1 guide for every 2 hunters, horses, saddles & tack, quartering and packing out your game, a cook, food & meals, 1 day in and 1 day out packing / travel time, 5 full days of guided Montana archery elk hunting, and 6 nights of lodging in our comfortable, backcountry, Montana archery elk hunting camp. Don’t be surprised if you are awakened by the sound of a bull elk bugling during the night.
It is about a 1 ½ hour horseback ride from the trailhead to our Montana archery elk hunting base camp. The camp consists of three large, comfortable hunter tents equipped with army cots, a wood burning stove, lots of cut firewood, a Coleman lantern, and a drying rack for wet clothes / a large heated cook tent with a sit down table to enjoy delicious, hearty meals / a large heated tack tent to keep our saddles & gear dry / a feed & supply tent / a heated shower tent / a covered latrine / horse corral & hitch rail.
We recommend that you be in as good of physical condition as possible. Your chances for a successful archery elk hunt are greatly dependent upon physical condition, your personal shooting ability
with your bow, the weather and hunting conditions.
You should plan to arrive in Wisdom Montana the day before your
Archery Elk hunt departure date.
We recommend that you make your motel reservations early at the Nez Perce Motel in Wisdom. The phone number is
(406) 689-3254. This is important because they fill up quickly. If you are flying, you would fly into the Butte, Montana airport, rent a vehicle and drive to Wisdom. It is about a 1 ½ hour drive.
